Business Consulting

Is something not quite right in your organisation? Do you know what is working for your management team and what needs to be improved? Is your organisation managing its people in the most efficient and personable way possible? Are you recruiting and retaining the right people for the right reasons?

If you don’t know the answer to any of the questions above, or if you know the answer but don’t know how to fix the problem, then you need to talk to one of The Pivot Institute’s business consultants. Our highly trained and experienced business consultants can help your organisation find the missing piece to your effective management puzzle. A team of Pivot Institute staff can study your workplace and provide you with a detailed report on the management of your people and your business. This can be a broad review of your entire organisation or a focused study on one particular area. If you’re not sure how to move your organisation forward then ask The Pivot Institute to help.

Learning & Development Management

Whether you’re a growing organisation, or an established organisation changing its approach to Human Resource Management, the professional development of your employees is critical to the success of your business. The Pivot Institute has highly qualified staff with detailed knowledge of vocational training under the Australian Quality Training Framework. We can provide the Learning and Development Management your organisation needs to upskill your workforce. Let experienced professionals at The Pivot Institute guide you and your staff through the maze of analysis, design and delivery of learning and development, including training, assessment and management of your most valuable asset.

Training Needs Analysis

Does your organisation need to improve the way it does business? Do you need to train your staff to improve their performance? Do you have new employees who need to be appropriately qualified in your equipment and processes? Can you be sure that your employees are getting the training they need? If you answered yes to any of those questions (except the last one), then maybe you need The Pivot Institute to conduct a Training Needs Analysis (TNA) for your business.

The Pivot Institute understands your need to develop your staff and ensure they are producing the most efficient work outcomes. Above all, The Pivot Institute knows that more training is not always the answer to all your problems. We understand that you can’t always spare the time to work out how to help your staff take the next step, which is why we can conduct an on-site TNA for your organisation.

The output from a Pivot Institute TNA is generally a list of recommendations for placement of personnel, training and human resource management strategies. It is not a list of qualifications offered by The Pivot Institute to try and steer you unnecessarily to training with Pivot. Our policy is honesty.

Facilitation

If you have an important conference on the agenda and want to make sure it runs smoothly, you might benefit from the services of a Pivot Institute facilitator. Our professional staff have highly developed presentation skills and are comfortable addressing audiences of any size. We will keep your conference on topic and on time and ensure that the outcomes of the presentations are appropriately documented for distribution to participants and action on decisions. Make sure your next big conference is remembered for its content, not its disorganisation.

The Pivot Institute has also provided conference presenters to a number of exhibitions. Our advanced facilitation and presentation skills will capture your audience and enliven your conference. Our staff have presented at the WA Training Forum, Team 10, ORNA, Learning Conferences and have judged business competitions at Edith Cowan University Best of the Best Awards.

Conflict Resolution

Conflict is an unavoidable part of life and needs to be managed and resolved constructively for the benefit of both the individuals involved and the organisation. This program looks at the nature of conflict and offers the participant some valuable lessons in managing and resolving conflict within the organisation, as well as moving towards constructive outcomes.

Time Management

In today’s extremely fast-moving and demanding environment the effective use of time is critical to the individual and the organisation’s achievement of goals and objectives. This program seeks to convey the value of time, identify current time usage, identify goals, and develop systems to ensure the achievement of those goals through the effective use of time.
