Elisa Uyen is the Managing Director and Founder of The Pivot Institute which was established in 2002. With over 25 years’ experience in corporate training, learning and development consultancy and RTO management Elisa is committed to providing powerful, customised and targeted programs across leadership and management, training and assessment and mine based training including high risk licences. Elisa and her team have also been co-ordinating Pivot’s major projects including Life After Argyle and My Future Plan for Rio Tinto. These projects have provided bespoke learning and development consultancy services to support upskilling for large mine closures including determining suitability, management of training functions and Master Vendor services for Argyle (WA) and Ranger Uranium (NT).
Marketing and Communications Manager
Ashleigh has been with Pivot for over 7 years and specialises in course content development, marketing and client relationship management. Ashleigh has worked in mining and manages client communication and liaison between Pivot and our mining clients. Ashleigh thoroughly enjoys the creative side of the development of Pivot’s marketing content and is in charge of the marketing and communication side of the organisation. Ashleigh’s qualifications include a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Event Management.
Morgan has worked in the education sector for over four years, both as a Trainer and Learning and Development Consultant. She has worked with Pivot on a number of Mine Closure Projects, including Rio Tinto’s Life After Argyle (Argyle Diamond Mine) and My Future Plan (Ranger Uranium). In these programs, she has been responsible for identifying training needs, aiding participants in finding training pathways to assist them in future employment, and monitoring and assisting with participant progress throughout their chosen courses. She is also involved in the enquiries team at Pivot, supporting prospective students in finding the correct Pivot course to suit their career goals and experience.
Morgan’s education includes a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Melbourne and a Cambridge Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. She is currently completing her Diploma of Training, Design and Development with The Pivot Institute to prepare her for future roles as a Trainer and Assessor.
Administration and Student Support Officer
Rosie has been working in Administration and Student Support role at The Pivot Institute since Feb 2021. She is currently studying BSB40215 Certificate IV in Business.
At The Pivot Institute, Rosie handles the daily administrative activities such as Enrolments, mail outs, IT support, receiving phone calls and ordering supplies.
Rosie is friendly and shows effective organisation and communication skills by providing ongoing support to students and clients. Her background in Hospitality contributes greatly to her expertise in effective client communication and satisfaction.
