This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to design and develop assessment tools to guide the collection of quality evidence, including their application in formative, summative and recognition of prior learning (RPL) assessment. This unit can be delivered through facilitated virtual delivery, supported distance learning or RPL. The duration to complete this unit is 3 months.

This unit describes the skills and knowledge a vocational trainer or assessor requires to identify language, literacy and numeracy (LLN) skill requirements of training and the work environment, and to use resources and strategies that meet the needs of the learner group. This unit can be delivered through facilitated virtual delivery, supported distance learning or RPL. The duration to complete this unit is 3 months.

Upgrade from TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment to TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. TAE40116 will equip you with the skills to incorporate LLN support into session plans, design and develop assessment tools, participate in assessment validation and plan assessment activities and processes. Course upgrade duration is 6 months. Can be delivered through facilitated virtual delivery, supported distance learning or RPL (Recognition of prior learning).
