Supported Distance Delivery
Whilst our preferred delivery method is facilitated workshops we recognise that on occasion it can be useful to have a supported distance delivery option. We are able to provide an option at this time which can include: quality printed workbooks, a detailed external Study Activity Guide to support distance learning, all course content and materials on the Pivot Online Learning System (POLS) and ongoing support from an assigned facilitator.
This platform holds all the learning material, assessment requirements, resources, needed to complete the qualification. Additionally, this is where you can attend our Virtual Classroom sessions and speak to your colleagues in the Participant Forum.
Learning resources and additional support provided for the program include:
- Quality printed Learner Guides
- Access to POLS (Pivot Online Learning System) to provide full course material and support for participants regardless of their chosen delivery method
- Relevant handouts and journal articles
- A detailed Study Guide for each cluster area if participants require additional support to achieve the Qualification. This Study Guide is clear and concise and walks participants through the major content of each cluster, encouraging them to stop and check with more experienced practitioners at key points.
- Practice Tasks
- Webinar tutorials
- Mentoring with Pivot trainer.
Participants from facilitated workshops are also provided with access to the Pivot Online Learning System which contains all course content and includes additional clips to view, case studies and articles to read to further support learning in the Qualification.
The TAE40116 is delivered in three clusters:
The Learning Design Cluster provides the skills and knowledge required to identify the content of a learning program, how to design a program for a target audience and how to review it.
This cluster also covers the skills and knowledge of how to use training packages to support industry, organisational and individual competency development needs.
The Train the Trainer Cluster provides the skills and knowledge to effectively deliver training to groups and individuals in the workplace.
This includes the development of training materials and resources and ensures competence in planning, organising and delivering informative and practical training sessions.
The Workplace Assessor Cluster focuses on developing assessment plans, organising the assessment process and conducting assessments.
This cluster describes the skills and knowledge required to design and to develop assessment tools used to guide the collection of quality evidence, including their application in formative, summative and recognition of prior learning (RPL) assessment.
