Course Overview
This qualification will provide Graduates with a solid understanding of key aspects of safety as relevant to Australian workplaces. This will include how to contribute to workplace health and safety hazards identification, ensure compliance with WHS laws, respond to incidents and contribute to implementing and maintaining WHS systems in the workplace.
Target Group
This qualification is suitable for those who wish to participate in WHS as a supervisor or provide support for WHS in an organisation.
this program provides the skills and knowledge for a trained safety officer using the latest workplace health and safety legislation.

Reasonable language, literacy and numeracy skills.
Number of Participants
Up to 20 per class.
Duration
Facilitated workshop (10 days) over 12 months.

The Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety is a nationally accredited program which provides graduates with the skills and knowledge needed to perform a health and safety role and/or task within an organisation.
Australia’s Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety is the current industry standard for safety professionals and is the minimum requirement sought after employers.
