What is a skill set?
Skill sets are defined as single units of competency, or a combination of units of competency from an endorsed Training Package, which link to a license or regulatory requirement, or defined industry need.
TAE10 Assessor Skill Set
Overview:
The TAE10 Assessor Skill Set specifies the competencies required to deliver training in an industry area or area of subject matter expertise, and to conduct competency-based assessment in a range of contexts. It is aimed at all persons involved in the provision of training and assessment services.
Recommended for:
Individuals who wish to obtain the assessment competencies in order to be assessed according to the AQTF requirements.
Entry Requirements:
No previous knowledge or experience needed except for reasonable language, literacy and numeracy skills.

The TAE10 Enterprise Trainer Skill Set specifies the competencies required to deliver training in an industry area or area of subject matter expertise, and to conduct competency-based assessment in a range of contexts. It is aimed at all persons involved in the provision of training services.
Recommended for:
Individuals who train others within the workplace. The training may be accredited or non-accredited. The role may involve some coaching at an individual or small group level.

No previous knowledge or experience needed except for reasonable language, literacy and numeracy skills.

It is aimed at all persons involved in the provision of training and assessment services .
Recommended for:
Enterprise trainers and assessors working in an enterprise registered training organisation (RTO) or in an enterprise that works together with an RTO in an aspiring arrangement. These people deliver and assess nationally endorsed units or qualifications.
